F 360 Grid Disappears While in Model Mode

My Fusion 360 grid disappears while in Model Mode. To get it back I have to go to Sketch, Line, then quit Line. This will give me a grid for a few minutes then it goes away again. I find it really annoying. Is there a way to force it to stay?

At the bottom of the screen, there's an icon for grid and snap. Click on it, and check the Layout Grid checkbox.

    Gerry,

Thanks. It should already be checked, but I'll verify that it is. At least I was finally able to keep the sketch from jumping around. Its possible I inadvertently unchecked the grid.
