    Torq Cut 22 axis directions?

Recently got our torq cut 22 up and running and noticed that the x and y axes are "backwards" they still follow right hand coordinate system but it's opposite of any machine I've ever seen. +x is machine left, +y is machine front (+z is still up). Is this normal? If not how do you switch they axis direction?

It is normal, the only thing odd is the pulse handle in which the direction is opposite of every other machine in the world. and for changing it you would probably have to rewire the handle. For some reason bridgeport thought its our way or the highway and all of their dx32 and easy tracs were opposite. Its very easy to crunch into stuff when used to other machines.

I must not be following because it doesn't sound like my TC30. X positive moves make table move to the left which relative to the part the tool moves right into the positive x direction. Y positive moves make the table move toward the operator or relative to the part the tool moves away from operator into the positive Y direction.

For instance if you set your zero on the operator side and left corner and Z=0 on the top of part of a rectangular workpiece all of the machining would be in positive coordinates for X and Y. and all Z coordinates would be negative..
