    TNG and SD card.

    Hi!

I just finishing the wiring of the SD card holder on my MK3/4 but there is no
option to save RAW files in the TNG software and if I create file using the old
version and save it on the SD then nothing happens if I press the start input.
Is the operation from SD still supported on the TNG?

    Regards,
    Marek

Unfortunately SD card does not work with TNG at the moment and its future support is questionable.

Ok I suppose you have your reasons for ditching the SD card support, but if that's so then
could you consider remapping the three related pins as IO? The MK3/4 has very few of
those and few extra would be of great help.

Same connector is used for I2C. I2C is fully supported and you can add virtually unlimited IO pins.

This is great to know but is there a way to use a I2C port expander
and then use those inputs for controlling functions in the shortcuts
settings as the regular IO pins?

Best way for triggering shortcuts in software is with some sort of keyboard emulation. For example something like this:
Arduino USB HID Keyboard - MitchTech | MitchTech
(I'm not familiar with this project, I just found this link with google)
