question about Breakout board for Laser Cutter

I'm to the stage of installing the breakout board for my laser cutter and I'm somewhat overwhelmed by all the choices... Anyone have specific recommendations?

Doe anyone have experience with this BOB? https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Axis-CNC-....c100010.m2109

Re: question about Breakout board for Laser Cutter

These Mach3 bobs are really designed for routers with a spindle. So in Mach3 you turn the spindle on and control the speed. The PWM pin could control the power level of a laser but Mach3 isn’t designed to quickly cycle it. There are ways to turn this signal on-off outside of Mach3 but its all more technical and limited. Double the cost of this BOB will get you a DSP laser controller. I’d consider that route.
