Hi everyone, I need to calculate step per for the 4th axis but I`m very confused with all this numbers
How can I do that this is the information that I have I would appreciate if you include step by step to learn how to calculate this

DC Servo Motor Model DCM50207D-1000 (they say that 1000 are 1000 lines)
V 30.3

N.M 0.35

r/m : 2900

TWO PULLEYS

Small Pulley Diameter 31.4 - 20 Teeh on shaft of the motor

large Pulley Diameter 94 - 60 Teeh on shaft of the Chuck

1000 *3 = 1000
But it may be 4000*3 = 12000

Hi Ivano,

It would be helpful to know what kind of system you have and what software you are using.

But most rotary axes use units of degrees so the answer might be:

1000 lines/rev x (4 counts/line) x 3 x (1rev/360degrees) = 33.33333333 counts/degree

You might just try a number and if it doesn't work measure the factor you are off by and divide the number by that factor.
