    Emcotronic T1 Control (Need Help )

    Hello everyone.

    Is there anyone who could help me with Emcotronic t1 cnc control.
    I have solved this RS-232 problem and machine works now, but i like to ask help with tool measurements.
    I have set parameters that machine should be able to take measurements with scratching trial workpiece with known dimensions.

    I would like to know prosedure how to take care of this measuring??

    Regards:Tatu

    You should see tool offset list.
    Otherwise It can be like in T2 -You should input the offset number (1-12) and then push enter.
    it will input the values to offset number You wil indicate. But anyhow there should be offset list visible.

    Hi

    I have set this parameter high ( L0 bit 4 Tool Measuring 0 0,16 Tool measuring with reference workpiece for T1 )
    i think that controller should be capable to automatically calculate values to compensation?
    maybe i have still some parameters missing or i'm doing it wrong.

    in that case U need to first measure the T1 tool as reference. (it should be in 1 station of the mag.)
    Then go manually to the required height
    push shift->T->number (01this case) ->enter
    This should store the value.
    Im not sure if U wouldn't need to set zero length once for reference (the same procedure but for T00 with empty spindleod some short thing in it) if the machine was out of power for long time.

    I don't have any working emco now so i have to recall it in my memory.
