Control is the 0-TTB. I tried the PWE=1 power on w/reset but no luck. the alarm is on head 2 side so I'm thinking it somehow needs to be booted on in the head 2? I had both head 1 and head 2 PWE=1 at one point as well, but it only cleared the head 1 memory and still stuck with the alarm on head 2

had a tech come out to fix it today. apparently there isn't a factory/official solution to this problem. the workaround was modifying the parameter for the program memory size (don't remember specifically what address it was) and that would force the control to clear/initialize the program memory to reformat it for the new memory size. just in case anybody else has an issue like this.
