    Fusion 360 RS274D post processor

    Options

Need a post processor to use with Fusion 360.

Finally, a little over a year, my DIY router is done. Gantry style, X axis moves right to left, Y axis moves front to back, Z axis moves up and down. Spindle 18,000 rpm from Delta VFD., manual tool changes, and I do not want to use homing sensors or have the machine go to a home position I want to position from the work piece.

Very little support from Autodesk, they told me to hire someone to write a post processor or add it to the Autodesk forum for a vote for Autodesk to write a post processor for KMotion, very disappointing, machines not running and waiting for a vote that may not have Autodesk do anything is not an option.

I did read on the Autodesk forum that the Autodesk RS274D post processor may work with KMotion.

I have also read on this forum that the Fanuc post processor may work but there is some homing issues.

I don't have the skill or knowledge to write or modify a post processor.

Would the Autodesk RS274D post processor work, I don't want to take chances on crashing the machine, breaking tools or worse.

Is there anyone that has a DIY router post processor for Fusion 360 or someone willing to write/modify a post processor for me, I am willing to pay a reasonable fee for one that works.

Any and all help would be appreciated, I'm located in Homer Glen, Illinois.

    Joe

Thanks, downloaded the KmotionCNC post processor and loaded it in Fusion 360 and it created g code, seems to be what I was looking for, from the Wiki page description it gives a zero referenced to the work piece no homing and manual tool change. Should work.

It will be a little bit before I'm ready to test it in the machine but moving forward now. Cool !
