Hello,
I'm working with Doosan Lynx 220LSY with siemens Sinumerik 828d.
I'm trying to start up Tool load monitor (TLM) but it seems like it doesn't work or work how it should be.
I recorded dimensions, selected proper axis on each tool that needs to be monitored and recorded current.
Later when TLM starts to monitor things, it detects broken tool even before machine starts to cut working area, so I lowered the min. tolerance then it goes ok.
But it doesn't detect realy broken tool (I tried cutting with broken insert and TLM does nothing) I even adjusted Max tolerance and so far no good.
Does anyone have some instructions or advice how to use it properly?

on the fanuc control you need to put M200 (TLM off) at the beginning of the program. Put in M201 right at the cut and M200 again to turn it off.
