    Different Voltages for G540 Inputs

    Hi,

My homing/limit switches are connected to the G540 via my motor power supply, which is 48VDC.

I've wired my switches per the sample wiring diagram in the G540 manual. i.e From the -VDC outlet of the motor power supply, through the switch and connected to the input terminals on the G540 terminal block.

I’ve just purchased this wireless tool height sensor that requires 5VDC - 24VDC; Wireless tool length sensor - CNCdrive - webshop

Can anyone offer any guidance on how I can connect the tool height sensor.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I have a separate 12VDC power supply
