Hi all,

I am wondering whether investment on HSM feature is feasible enough or just High speed cuts are good enough on a machine such as Tormach 770..?
I plan to mill mostly 6061 and Brass stock. Not sure which one is a better approach..

I think you can upgrade to hsm tool paths at any time. I would focus on learning the software and getting consistent results. Then look at options if you need more. The software is complex but powerful. And or also look at fusion its free I think.
