Grinding welding seams; grinding stone or cartridge roll

    Hi there,

just wondering what tools will be more efficient or advantageous.

To smoothen and grind off narrow welding seams. Mounted grinding stone or cartridge roll?

    thanks

if you wish, pls share more details, be more specific, so to restrain all the thoughts* that go through my head right now

I'd use a grinding disc or flap wheel first, and only use cartridge rolls for places it couldn't reach. I find that coarse flap wheels cut about as fast as solid discs, with better control and less user fatigue: Combo Flap Wheels | Schaffner Industrial line of Flap Wheel Products
