    Editing .gpp files - How?

I am using Linux CNC and have found some files in another post that allows me to post process the output of Solidcam to operate my machine.
However, i need to edit one or two things in the .gpp file to make it work as i would like.
I want to use mist cooling instead of flood and would like to change F8 to F7 and also delete G30.
Previously i have changed them in the g-code but would like to do it in the .gpp file.
I have opened the file in "Free file viewer" but can't edit it! I've "selected all in "Free file viewer" and opened it in Notepad, edited it but can't then save it as a .gpp file
How do i edit the file and re-save as a .gpp file?
No doubt a simple problem but a solution evades me.

It's standard text file so u can edit it by notepad or any text editor u like.
It is simple basic script writen mostly using "if" loops.

    1. "Free file viewer" not editor
    2. If you open file in Notepad and make some changes just click ctrl + s then you file save original extension but if you choose save as.. From menu file then notepad making a new file with default extension like *.txt of course u can change this extension from txt on *.* and check name format should be looking like name.gpp

    Anyway that's is so funny

Hi! Try VSCode + vscode-gppl-support extension.
