    linuxcnc kinematics design

    Hi guys,

    i'm beginning with linuxcnc kinematics, and i was wondering what CAD was compatible/people use/recommend ?

    thanks for the reply,

    from my understanding this qcad works with 2d/3d axis, kinematic uses 3 axis + 3 joint (robot arm). it unclear to me how it works. could you clarify ?

    My understanding is that the Kinematics converts normal 3D moves to the motion required to move the robot arm to a given XYZ coordinate so its not so much of a problem. Granted additional joints allow angles to be selected. Some info here
