Upgrade Technology Rock Solid Lathe with Fagor 8025T controller and EMS 606 PC3 spindle driver

Hello Everyone,

The lathe intermittently works, the Fagor 8025T controller always completes boot and displays Passed normally, but in the failure mode will not respond manual or programmatic commands.

I am now in need of the electrical schematics/drawings for the lathe, mostly what is connected to I/O 1
Something is pulling lines 15 and 16 low and disabling movement.

I have looked over the connections in and around the controller and have not found any broken wires or loose connectors. But because the lathe has run for quite a few years I mostly suspect any of the moving cables and connectors.

I have the same problem on a small gang lathe with Fagor 8025T controller.
The controller will crash shortly after test passed message.
I am curious what you did so far with yours.
Are you thinking about a new controller or a retrofit maybe.
