    Can I cut a double lead 2-56 UNC 2b thread with a thread mill

    yep, should be possible ! you need a helix soubroutine, that begins at a random angle, or shift Z kindly !

    ps : if you use a custom toolpath, that reduces tool stress when entering the material, than you will have to rotate also this type of operation

    another way 2 do it is by using a temporary coordinate system : declare the program origin in the center of the bore and apply a rotation of 180 degrees ☺
