    HOMEING ..Starting point...

    HI ALL
    I AM GOING to build cnc mill and lathe conversion
    i want to asking something
    when i have piece of aluminum for ex 20*20 cm and i want to mill it
    the milling xy table for ex 120*50
    where to put it on the table and how the spindle will move to my piece of aluminum to start milling
    i mean i what to know how to Preparation the cnc to star take the g cood

    any tube

    Mount your aluminum stock on the table anywhere, I will assume that x,y 0,0 is the bottom left corner of the toolpath you want to cut . Now you will move the cutter over your stock at the bottom left corner, and zero the machine. Now the toolpath is in sync with the machine. this is just one way to accomplish that.

    you means the first thing to do is to zero machine
    and i put the piece of aluminum any where
    and i moved the z or the tool to the y and x of piece of aluminum and i zero machine
    then the g-cood run on the piece of aluminum

    can you guide me to Video tube talking about this operation
