    Probe connections to Pulsar

I just bought a probe for my Pulsar. This one here: https://www.kurokesu.com/shop/precis...struments/TPA2 . From the specs it seems like it was a decent compromise between the cheaper probes you can find and an old Renishaw.

My question is - how do you connect it to the Pulsar. I'm still pretty new to this system. I'm in the process of installing PP right now as well. I assume it goes to the header on the BOB, but I can't find where. Any help would be appreciated. The switch is "passive" in that it's an open when tripped.

    Thanks.

Rick that’s a nice looking probe and pretty reasonable $. I forget which pin I think it’s pin 17 - but check the hal file. If it’s not powered then one pin to gnd and the other to pin 17 of the BOB.

I'm pretty sure I am using pin 15 on my probe. I'll check later when I am home.

Great. So just one wire to pin 15 and the other to ground.

Also - did you guys do anything to tram/square the head to the table? I've only done that kind of thing on an old bridgeport machine. It seems like it would have to e done with shims or something on this tool if necessary. Or was it close enough as delivered? I haven't measured this yet but intend to soon.
