    ISO 30 toolholders

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but it's gotta be close!

My spindle takes ISO30 toolholders and I need to buy a few more. Pricing ranges from $50 to over $200 per toolholder.

What should I be looking for in toolholders? Do I need to spend $200 or can I get the same quality for $50?

Are you looking for ISO30 collet chucks or other tool retention systems? The range is pretty wide and you want to get something that will last in time. Under $100 you get what you get I think it is pretty difficult to find a product that will be both precise and resistant. Something like the IMS ISO30 can keep you under the $200 and they are used from most of the OEM worlwide. https://www.imsusanc.com/products/w502
