Epilogue rebuilds those machines for a fee.
But if you can get an upgraded laser get it!

what we did is run the power @ 100% and speed @ 40 i believe so it would cut slow. so i called epilog tech today and to up grade to 50-65w it needs sent to them because there is other things that need done and thats approx 4-5,000 yikes! he also said that @ full power and the slower speed you use and if still takes more than one pass to cut the tube is not good... but he also said cutting 1/8" acrylic with the legend 32 30w is about right. so to me its basically just an engraver... witch is nice but i want it to cut also. doesn't look good does it..
we should have set the speed @ like 10 for a slooow cut.. and its to much to up-grade it, maybe get a cheap k40 or a walmart orion to get my feet wet... and actually i've heard some pretty good things on the cheap ones, but also alot of bad.
