G'day all,

I was reading Steve Seebold's post about adjusting the feed rate when you're tapping with the Tormach T/C head. I've spoken to a couple of people about this and it seems like he's not the only one that thinks it's a great idea.

Now my question...

Can anyone point me in the right direction, as to who or how you would modify the post processor to achieve this? I'm using Fusion 360 with PP 2x. I figured that if a tapping cycle is called, the post processor would automatically adjust the feed-in rate by -10%.

I don't have the expertise to do this, but I figured it's worth asking the question.

I program with GibbsCam which with the modules I have, I have a little over $18,000.00 invested and it won’t program for tapping the way I do it on my 1100.

The way I do it is to make a G81 drill cycle and then do my edits from there.
