    Stepper Motors

I have a Baleigh 3 axis router that I believe I might need a new stepper motor. The motor has no name on it but has this type number, 85BYGH450B-060-43. I cannot find a motor with this exact number but I have found some that are
85BYGH450B-06. Does anybody know if this is the same motor?

Not sure, check the driver and make sure it puts out enough current for the replacement. Why do you think the stepper is bad? Steppers are very simple and don't have many problems. you can measure the winding's resistance and check for short to grounds. Try to swap it with another motor axis and see if it causes the same problem. Their site shows lifetime tech support by phone.

    Re: Stepper Motors

I am not sure if it actually is the stepper, the driver or the wiring between them but I am trying to figure out where I can parts in case I need to replace anything and Baleigh is less than helpful when it comes to there support on the machine.
