    Electric shocks in cooling water

Is it normal,? I have chinese machine 80 watt laser (RECI genuine) I used a bucket and water pump as cooler for the laser tube, the water inside the bucket are electrified.
Is it normal for the water to get electrified from the laser tube?
Or my laser tube is damaging / broken and that's why it passes electricity into the water.

As long as laser works it is not broken.
Did you check all groud cables in your machine?
Chinese have only 2 wire wall instalation so thay are not used to make proper grounding.
Call for electrician to check it.

good chance it can be NOT laser itself, but water pump. As Cinematic2 told - call electrician.

I would say, your water pump is faulty, and should be replace before someone gets electrocuted, the Chinese supplied water pumps should not be used as they have no Ground, or are not double insulated, check the Machine Grounds as well, they may not be up to code as well, this is a must check for all Chinese Machines, as in China they are not required to use a Ground, which results in lots of deaths from electrocution

Thank you very much for your suggestion. But the water is electrified only when the laser tube is working

Glad you found what is causing the problem

That's all the more reason to check all the laser power supply and machine Grounds, make sure they are in place, if they are not, then this is the best place to start

Thanks, now I'm using destilate water and change the power supply.
