    dooan 7500 mill 2161 lub pressure down alarm

    I am getting this alarm quite often. the gauge action if fine. I am getting it when the pressure is in the green. sometimes the pump cycles right but sometimes it will cut on as soon as you move an axis and wont cut off until it alarms out. can anyone help?

    If the gauge is truly displaying correctly, and you are understanding it correctly, then the likelihood is that the pressure switch is failing. This can be verified by checking the actions of the I/O signal of the switch.

    I verified the switch was not working by the action of the I/O. I changed the switch and it fixed the problem thanks.
