HSS86 and 2HSS86H Closed Loop Drivers

    Hi,
Does anyone have experience with HSS86 and/or 2HSS86H drivers?
    Changzhou Jinsanshi Mechatronics Co. Ltd.
Step-servo driver 2HSS86H-2 phase step servo series-Product-Shenzhen Just Motion Control Electromechanics Co., Ltd.
Is there a tuning software available for these drivers?
How do they compare with Leadshine products in terms of quality?
    Thanks.

Did you get any info on these in the end, or buy and try to use? I'm also interested in the closed loop stepper designs.

    Hi,

yes, I bought the JMC steppers with 2HSS86H directly from the factory. I have tested them only briefly. They seem to be good so far. Controller parameters are adjustable via an additional device (HISU) that came together with the motors. I will let you know as soon as I will test them in real load conditions.
I have decided for the JMC because the JSS driver (HSS86) parameters are not adjustable.

I am fondling the idea of purchasing the HSS86 model from Ratt Motor's stockhouse in Germany. No import duties this way and delivery within 15 days.

But what you say is a bit alarming. No adjustment?

It appears that there is a RS232 port on the HSS86 device. Doesn't this suit interface to a laptop (usb) and possibly allow for adjustment?

Please fill me in with your on extra knowledge on the matter. I will appreciate it.

My first option was JSS, too. I have contacted JSS directly regarding parameter adjustment. I have got the answer, that the RS232 port is only used to copy the driver software into the driver in the factory. The user cannot change parameters via this port.
It is probably not a big deal, because most people will not adjust control loop parameters anyway, but I wanted to have more control in case of troubles. Micro-steps are selectable via on board switches.

    Clear enough!

Actually my prospective supplier's listing states that the product offered is the 2HSS86H.
I contacted them to verify on this and I inquired if a HISU adjuster is provided along with the package.

    time will tell

    thank you for now !!!

    Hi,
I've the same problem. When I give command to move the alarm driver blink 3 time each 3 sec. try to change on driver and cabling of a motor of the same model that go well. Nothing. I buyed to RATT Mator a nema 32 12Nm.
They Say me Cabling problem (but the cabling is correct) and after that substitute the encoder but the problem is the same.
Do you have resolve your problem. Could anyone help me
    thank in advance

My setup is dual motors on y axis. I have found it important to adjust both belts equally. Also to perfectly align the gantry.

Also to decrease the acceleration of motor in motor tuning.
