I also got this USB breakout board, and used to control my CNC lathe.
I connect the Input5 (Pin15) as index to get spindles RPM (use hall sensor to generate one pulse per revolution) ,
but it return random RPMs from 10 - 1000, not usable to.

When I use LPT breakout board, I got steady RPMs using the Pin15.

it seems this USB breakout board cannot get spindle feedback RPM.

    Hello friend
. My device is in the settings stage. The first problem is that I do not know the settings of the drives and software. The second problem is that the road controller port locks all the axles when I disconnect it from the PC, and the axles are released when I connect it. Please help

Hi. quick question for the owners of this board: do you see "actual speed" in mach3 during travel or works? I see only 0.00 and so I don't know the real speed of the cnc.
    Thanks a lot.

Hi Michael, sent you a PM asking how you've sorted the spindle index pulse. Just got myself involved with a V2.1 board too and have yet figured out why it doesn't work. Tried to send a clean 2%, 5%, 10% duty cycle signal using a function generator and that doesn't reach out to M3 via all the BL Mach3 dll drivers I could find. Next step is probably to hook a logic analyzer on the usb (hid) protocol and reverse engineer that STM32 firmware and the plugin entirely :/

In a meantime, if anyone else managed to get this spindle index pulse working please do share. Bet many who have this board are pretty stuck... (just how the dev of that plugin thought we were doing rigid tapping and lathe threading?!)

Re: needed:mach3 plugin dll for USBMach V2

These are files that came with mine. They work. Only issue I had with wiring is, I had to flip dir and pulse wire for it to run. Not total sure if it was me messing up in wiring at first or the print is wrong.

The second issue is this board will not support backlash offsets. Now looking for one that will. I've gotten as much as i could out of mechanically but need that last little bit.
