Can you convert a 3 axis AKZ250 to 4 axis?

I have a 3 axis AKZ250 USB board (aka Leafboy card). On the right side of the board (see the yellow circle on the attached image) there is two optos missing. Looks like soldering there the right components will make it 4 axis however that's just my guessing. Has anyone tried this? Did/will it work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best,
    Suat

It should work if the firmware is the same for 3-axis and 4-axis cards. But I suspect the 4th axis is disabled in the firmware.
