    Hiwin HG20 grease fittings???

I found another thread on this but no real solution. I want to put grease nipples on all of my bearing blocks. I looked up the specs and found that the blocks take m6x0.75mm zerk type fittings. Pulling the plugs out I see the threads appear straight. Has anyone put grease fittings on these things? Where do you get them? I need like 10 of them. Seems silly to post this but I have searched and searched with no luck. I found a couple tapered m6x0.75 fittings but nothing with straight thread. Are people using the tapered thread? Thanks!

get push to fit fittings. run a hose to it and send it to a block that you can put all the zerk fittings on in one location. Ebay has them.

Got a Harbor Freight nearby? They should have them.

Great, Thanks guys. I do have a HF near, but I doubt they carry such a thing?

Zerk fittings? I'm pretty sure they still do, they certainly did in the past. Push-to-fit quick disconnect fittings, probably not.

Im sure they have Zerk fittings, but these are certainly not standard. Today I found a local HIWIN dealer and they actually have their own PN for the fittings. Ill report back if they sell some to me. M6x0.75 straight thread is not common at all.

Harbor Freight sells M6 fittings as a part of a 32-piece kit, but it does not say whether the thread pitch is 1.0 or 0.75. Probably worth checking next time you happen to be near the store.

    Mcmaster Carr has them.

Thanks everyone. I bought a few straight through Scott Equipment. Not cheap at almost $6 per but they shipped them within a few hours and I should have them in a day or two. Part number is listed in the Hiwin catalog.

I didn't even think to try mcmaster!

1105K16 is the MMCarr part number... pack of ten for less than I paid for a single Hiwin fitting. I bet those Hiwin ones have a super high flow rate geometry and ultra slick coating on them though so well worth the price!
