    Conventional milling

I have been working my way through "SolidCAM 2016 Milling Training Course 2.5D Milling" and got to trying to machine the open pockets on page 157 of exercise 4. With difficulty i managed it but i can't get it to cut using conventional milling. It always opts for climb milling.
How do i change from climb to conventional?
I tried to upload the model but it's not a valid file format so here's a screen shot.

    Re: Conventional milling

With imachining, under the technology tab there's a drop down box for cutting direction. On normal pocket operations,on the technology, then contour tab there's a selection for direction. With the profile paths you can just select the tool side on the technology tab.

    Re: Conventional milling

Changed to the pocket option and this solved the problem with one of my other posts and allowed conventional milling.
    Your reply was much appreciated.

To answer the original question on how to do it, when you select the geometry - you would want it to point the other direction, then under technology switch the path to the right instead of the left.
