    ball screw

I have had my cnc for years. it is 26 by 32 inches

do the 2010 ballscrews seem about right?
    if so 2005 or 2010

i want to build a larger format
    1500mm by 1500 mm
I was thinking about 2010 for the 1500mm

the basic square framework and gantry will be 80/20 3060
    with 1545 cross members
    it should be pretty rigid.

use for cutting uhmw, other plastics, wood, some aluminum.

NO one knows if a 2005 or 2010 ball screw will whip at 60inchs on a rigid machnine 2500 max rpm?

    Re: ball screw

For a router, you want at least 10mm pitch screws.

If you really need 25m/min speeds, then get 2525 ballscrews, and gear the motor 2:1. I would not try spinning 2010 screws at 2500rpm.
