    Auto tool change position

    Hi guys,
I have an Arrow 500 (Acramatic 2100) which crashed today. It looks like all the offset info has been lost.
I have everything set back as best I can but now when there is a tool change in a program the machine rapids to a tool change position that is near to machine datum zero.
If I 'data reset' before the tool change & start the program from the next tool change then it is fine & doesn't move.

I've looked for a tool change position setting but can't find one.

    Any body help?

    Many thanks.

Not sure what you mean by " it's fine and doesn't move" , does it do a normal tool change?? Does it happen on just one tool or any tool?

    Hi Mike,
By its fine I mean it doesn't move in the x & y. It happens to any tool change in a program. MDI tool changes are ok.

No, I'm using new and old programs that never used to have this issue either.
Is there a default tool change position in x & y at I can change? I thought I read something about a value that if it was negative then it wouldn't move the x & y?

It sounds like you've lost the G28 P4 position
There is a section in the acramatic control showing you how to reset it
Try looking at section 4 page 64
