    3D scanning with two cameras

    Hi,

I finally have the David 5 running with two cameras.
And was able to calibrate the camera and the projector.
Scan results not the greatest I have a screen print attached.
If you look at the screen print it almost looks like the two cameras could not fuse the images together?
Is this a problem with the cameras not aligned?
Question on the calibration of the cameras do you have to do a calibration of the one camera view then also a calibration of the other camera view?
w/o vids to watch flying in the dark
    Any comments would be great

    Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Did you try getting support from HP, who bought the David scanner business? Are they the ones who told you to use 2 cameras? The David systems I've seen only use one. Here's a setup guide, if you don't have it already: DAVID - DAVID 5 Manual

Thanks, Jalessi - at least we now know it's a thing. Doesn't it come with any support to make it work?
