    Help! - Fanuc to seimens translation please!

    Hi all,

    I’m a Fanuc programmer but trying to help a friend out who uses Siemens.
    Id like to use the Fanuc system variable #3011 (YYYYMMDD)
    I want to call the system variable ‘#105=#3011’ so I can use the date etc in a program.
    I have now found out that the Siemens control stores these variables separately rather then in one.

    $A_YEAR
    $A_MONTH
    $A_DAY.

    can anyone explain how I implement this info into a program so I can use it.

    In other words a translation of this #105=#3011(Fanuc) to seimens.
