Adapting a plasma cutter to the stepcraft

Has anyone attempted to create a toolholder and adapt a smaller plasma cutter to the stepcraft system? I currently have a need to cut 1mm thick copper parts and was thinking of building a system to adapt the spindle holder to, is this possible to do? Could anyone recommend an inexpensive cutter (wont be running for more than 20 minutes a day) or any suggestions of how to do this or if its possible/not possible?

Since plasma cutters typically run about 20,000 deg F, I would personally forget this idea and just cut copper with a standard end mill. 1mm thick copper is easy to cut.
