    Max Speed settings?

    Hey Guys,

I hooked up my xylotex board this evening and spun the motors. Relax, don't worry... my machine is already built! (i.e. I didn't put the cart in front of the horse!)

I am using turbocnc to drive some 116oz Powermax II motors. I also have a 24v power supply and the motors are wired in parallel. I really thought the motors were a little stronger than that.

Does anyone have anything similar? I'm trying to find out what kinds of speeds you guys are using for
    start speed:
    max speed :
    acceleration:

    Any suggestions welcomed!

    Mike...

I have a similar setup but I use Mach2. With 1/4-20 screws I get 46 in/min and I have the acceleration set almost at the steepest setting and speed at absolute max. I have no problems with missing steps at all.
