Lightbulb The CamBam forum is out of order

    Hello,

Due to a hard disk failure, the CamBam.co.uk forum is out of order since the afternoon 20 April 2018. (French time)

Be patient, the repair is in progress.

    Hello

Because the install files are also on the same server, during the forum repairing you can download the 0.98P and 1.014 versions on this page (for Windows only)

Hello - new user here. Make guitars for a living. Any input or suggestions are appreciated. One thing I noticed right away is the post processor drop down menu does not list generic grbl which is what I need as I have an Arduino controller.

With the forum down I am not sure where to direct you, but there are users using grbl. Not me though. Sorry.

    Hello

I attach a basic GRBL post pro to this message.

You can also use this plugin to drive a GRBL machine directly from Cambam (I think, but not sure, that GRBL 1.1 is needed for this plugin)

Many thanks David - much appreciated. Both of my CNC machines are grbl 1.1 - Unfortunately after putting the file in the CamBam "plugins" folder grbl still does not show up in the drop down menu. How do I install this file correctly? Thanks, N

Nice ; I can't use it, but if I well understand how the plugin works, no GRBL PP is needed with it ; ... and the plugin allow to manage toolchange and Z zeroing during a machining process.

If you got to the plugins directory with your system file manager and right click the plug-in file to bring up the properties there may be a check box to unblock the plugin. That is an operating system thing. Not a CamBam thing. I started noticing it under Windows 10 every time I add a plugin.
