The 350w motor isn't sounding healthy on the cnc converted X2.
Want to replace it with something more powerful.
Thinking around the 1kw+ range.
Was looking at servo motors and drives so I can control it from the breakout board but don't know which connections go where on the Parallel port of the drive/amplifier.
Can probably have success with an induction motor + VFD but the servos look the best option.
BOB is this one:
Manual for the servo amplifier I'm looking at:
https://www.fasttobuy.com//download/...anual_V3.0.pdf
The wiring diagram for speed/torque mode is on page 20.
On a VFD type the wiring goes:
The 2 connections for spindle on/off control goes top conn on bob to FOR and bottom conn goes to DCM
The 2 for the 0-10V spindle speed output on bob goes top to VI and bottom to ACM
Unsure if there is a stop circuit there.
Thanks.
