    Simple newbie Madcam question

    Hi-
    I'm trying out the demo version of madcam, coming from the too expensive rhinocam... Is there a way to do simple 2 1/2d in madcam, as there is in rhinocam?
    Simple profiling, drilling?I'm using Rhino 6, and I see no menu item for 21/2d in the madcam menu tab.

    Oh-
    I see- it is under the 3d menu as "profiling"... Now when I try specifying a cut "outside" it just cuts inside the line and won't stay on "outside", but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

    You specify the side by moving the simulated tool before entering the dialog.
    There are some movie clips here, getting a bit old but the routines for the basic stuff are still the same.
