    Alphacam and Inventor 3D assembly

Hello to everyone, I am Altair and i am a furnitures technical designer, we have bought a 2002 3 axis cnc routher for wood, and his own obsolete gcode cnc software. Is the first time that i directly face with cnc router and software but the intention is to buy alphacam for this machine. I use inventor and before to contact alphacam resellers i would like to ask your personal experiences, is it possible from an inventor assembly to create a nesting with the "basic alphacam"? Or i have to convert it in some else 3d model like stl(losing times in convert everything)? We work especially on rectangular wood panel "parts".
Thank you so much for your help,
    Altair

Inventor files Works great directly in AlphaCAM - BUT Inventor (IPT files) (and all other Solids) needs Advanced AlphaCAM

For Inventor assembly use Shrinkwrap or Sat file.
