4800 TorchMate Inch to Metric setting change

    Hi All,

Trying to get my 4800 machine to operate in metric measurements. Got the movement and display in MMs.
But IHS doesn't move correctly when set to MM. Really slow down movement of Z axis when sensing with Ohmic shield.
Secondly, shapes library although dimensions correctly, dimensions greater than 130 mm cannot be entered as error checking
of required shape is still in inches!

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    Rob

You dont need to make any changes in the VMD software to cut a metric file, in VMD leave everything in inches you can change the Viewport to Metric by Logging on as Admin, click the small Gear icon at top left of the Window on the Units tab change Unit to Metric.

In the Cad software change your units to Metric by left clicking on the ruler. When you output your file change the Device to read Accumove Millimeter, this is all you need to do to cut a metric file.
