    Homemade 4th axis

I have made up a 4th rotary axis for index cutting. Currently mach3 is controling the indexing and delta dynapath 20m is just looping a simple linear move with dwell.

Is it possible to wire delta dynapath to comunicate with a closed loop stepper motor and drive? Maybe just using signals from i/o board?
How would one go about the wiring?

    Thanks

    Re: Homemade 4th axis

You could update it to a 4th axis The dynapath puts out a +- 10vdc command. And takes a 5vdc squarewave feedback. Dynapath is still around. And services controls. Another place is parts and smarts in Wisconsin. Another option is if your machine has an m-code that turns on to start and allows an input to say it is done. Best of luck
