dc to ac servo motor upgrade

Can anyone chime in on difference between the two. I have keling 1100w servo motors now. If I went with 1000w ac delta servo motor is that a big upgrade or do I need to get the 1.5kw or 2kw if i want substantial upgrade.

What model do you have? I didn't think Keling identifies their DC servos by power.
Probably not worth the upgrade unless you're having issues with the current servos. The biggest advantage of AC servos is longevity/reliability as they have no brushes to wear out. Also, Delta servo's generally have metric frames, not NEMA, so if you've got a NEMA 34 or whatever servo now you'll probably need a new mounting plate for an AC servo.

If your existing system is working OK, I see no advantage in replacing servos.
