    EZ CAM File converted

    Hey Guys,

Would anyone be able to convert a file over for me? I have an old file that I have from when i use to use V19. I no longer have the software and just want to know if someone can open the file for me and save it as a DXF.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Vulcan,

I'am now not at the workshop but tomorrow I can convert your file to DWG/DXF or IGES.
At home I use sometimes the demo version of our 2016-v23 license at the shop, results shown in the attachments

    Regards,

    Hi Vulcan,

Did you machine the file, I see that you miss 2 pockets, image #4.
The result of the DXF would be like image #3.
At home I can't save the file, tomorrow I'll send you the correct one.

    Regards,Heavy_Metal.

    Hey Heavy_Metal,

Yep, I machined the file. I just engraved it as pockets on an aluminum panel. I use to make custom crab pots with these files.
Image 3 looks like it should be good for me. I probably separated the other pockets for some reason but I dont remember why, its been a few years.
    Thanks again for the help!

    Hi Vulcan,

The Zip-file contains 2 different DWG and DXF files, the #1 are the original with dots in the pockets, EZCAM shows them as green triangles, see image #5.
I removed them in the #2-files, I also saved the DXF as ASCII and Binary DXF-files.
I hope it will work for you.

    Regards,
    Heavy_Metal.
