    Cobra 42 21T backup

Does anyone have the procedure to do a full backup to include the ladder for the 21T controller?

I tried doing a backup to the pcmcia card in the controller and electrical cabinet. It did not recognize that there was a card there.

I have been able to back up what I can with the rs232 cable. I just can't seem to figure out how to get the ladder out of it.

If I were you and you cant get it backed up take pictures of each page with your cell phone, You would have to go thru it manually and make the necessary changes by hand but at least you would have it

I have taken pictures of the various screens that will not punch out. That method will not help with the ladder though.

I must have misunderstood what you are trying to do with the ladder ? The ladder for a cnc control is to show/explain where certain components are located and or if they are being used at a certain time . What is it that you are trying to do ? reload it into the system after a memory reset?

If you need a pmc ladder back up you will need an sram card
The memory card your using is a flash card
Whereabouts are you maybe someone on here is local to you
If your doing a memory clear the old file should be ok

So how do you get the controller to back up to the SRam card?

You put the SRAM card in the same place as you put the PCMIA card (on the I/O Board )
Then power up holding the two right hand soft keys under the screen
