Good afternoon,

I have an Okuma OSP 7000 and I'm searching for a manual that has alarm codes along with descriptions on how to troubleshoot the specific alarm. For example, I am getting 2832 alarm (spindle head cooling unit), but my current manual does not contain a list of alarms / faults. My current manual does not contain this, despite it containing over 600+ pages.

Hi,

I had a look at my OSP7000 alarms manual and I too don't have that alarm code.

I am guessing there are different manuals depending on machine - i.e. is yours OSP7000 on a mill? Mine is 2 axis lathe.

ha, i just looked over the image shared by gibsoni : 1038 is an error about an unknown error at least, is vac related

I found the correct manual, it's not in the maintenance manual I guess.

I also received 1048, motor cable overcurrent. We receive this whenever we speed up the spindle motor speed, so I'm assuming my issue is with this motor / cable / drive.

Could also be your power supply to the machine or cable size. Check voltage for drop during acceleration.
