woodpecker 3018 problems with X and Y axis and stepper motors

Hi! I recently bought a CNC 3018 that comes with a woodpecker board. After putting it together I managed to carve small designs (2cm), but recently I decided to make bigger things and I found a problem. If the stepper motor needs to move more than 25.00 steps (according to GRBLcontrol) it will stop and make a buzzing sound for a couple of seconds, not finishing its path and making the designs to look weird.

I thought at first this could be a problem related to the stepper motors, but after playing a bit with the woodpecker board I found that all motors work fine when using the Z axis.

Is there anything I can do to make it work?
