can you HOME the toolchanger? if I recall there is functions under Main>Util>Tlcng that allow control and homing of the changer. if not that, when I got mine fired up for the first time in fiddling I just rotated the indexing motor gently by hand
The util tlchng functions are unresponsive. And the carousel is pretty locked up. No movement by hand
did the head hit the carousel? have you tried going to MDI an doing a M20 to home drum ?
If it not stuck on head but utility menu inop, reboot the control, home the control and MDI a M20
Tool changer codes (M19-M28)
These functions are used with the optional automatic tool changer. An M19 will orient the spindle. The tool drum is controlled by M20 (tool drum home), M21 (tool drum CW) and M22 (tool drum CCW). The tool arm is controlled by M23 (Arm in) and M24 (Arm out). The drawbar is controlled by M25 (drawbar on) and M26 (drawbar off). The orient roller is controlled by M27 (orient roller in) and M28 (orient roller out).
Thank I'll try the m codes when I get back.
It was just changing tool position when I hit it, so the arm is free just the position isn't in an index. I'll try the carousel home.
Thank to everyone who even had a thought about this. M20 did the trick
