    What controller

    Hi all
We are having a new post written for our Multicam Machines by Solidworks solidcam and they need to know what controllers are used? We have An MG Series and two 5000 series
but on opening the cabinet I can`t see anything descriptive that can give me any info`. Does anyone out there know what controllers are used in these machines ?
    Thanks to all

Not sure about the newer machines but the older ones use Extratech controllers. Extratech is known to deal only with machine mfgrs.

    Hi NSchlee
Thanks for that. Our oldest machine is the MG which is 2002 vintage and one the 5000`s is 2005 and our newest 5000 is 2016. I have tried contacting our vendor but they are not picking up. I don`t know what is going on there but thanks for your help. I hope this helps solidworks.

All this information and more used to be available on the mc .com website.
They had a forum on there website as well.
    Not anymore :-/
    Why ?

To avoid complaints about service they stopped providing service (!/?)

The factory MC Forum did not last long and has not been available for years.
Much of the outdated software and info was on Southeast MC's website. I believe they updated their site and it's no longer available.
I downloaded as much as I could while it was available.
