Hi,

I recently bought a VFD for a 2.2kw spindle. The maker model of the VFD is as below.

Xin Shuang Yuan Co Ltd
XSY-AT1
Model: AT1-2200X
Ver: A03

I'd like it to start stop, and if possible determine the spindle speed from the BOB using Mach3 gcode. Has anyone set one of these up to add these functions to this VFD. Its not clear to me from the wiring diagrams of the VFD which control wiring connections to connect to the BOB for these control. The VFD rear panel includes the connections 15v, 5v, VL1, COM, X1,X2,X3,X4,X5,X6, COM, SP1, see diagram

Any thoughts or links welcome.

What bob do you have? Does it have analog speed control?
Looks like you need to connect the speed control output to VL1, the ground to COM and the enable/forward to X4.

Apologies for the delay I have been climbing in the mountains.

A quick search for "5 axis breakout board with relay v5" on Google reveals the BOB I have. Your right it looks like the speed control output to VL1, the ground to COM and the enable/forward to X4.
