Can someone compare Doosan DNM 5700 with DMG CMX800v?
Same equipment!
12k rpm
renishaw
through spindle coolant
DMG have direct measuring system in standard, DOOSAN dont have.

The Doosan is a 41x22" machine and the DMG is a 31x22" machine. The Doosan is probably lower cost and has a Fanuc controller. I'd take the Doosan, because I have a great dealer and I like the Fanuc control.
Lets say, size doesn't matter. What would you chose?
I realy like DNM with siemens 828d.
Is worth to pay 14k more for smaller DMG? (siemend 840d)
How about "the best of both worlds"
A DNM 5700 with a Siemens Control
Doosan has recently licensed the use of Siemens controls on their machines.
There currently is a slight lead-time of around 6 months after order. (that time should decrease as we progress)
You need no reason to compromise...

Late reply, but here's my take.
DNM5700 - X & Y movement is the table moving on roller guides.
CMX800 - X movement is the table moving on roller guides, Y movement is a roller guide Bridge style (basically the Y axis is moving over the table & Z axis is attached to Y).
I have heard nothing but horrors about DMG Mori's Y Bridge style movement on the older Ecomills. The Y axis begins to sag over time. The CMX is basically the Ecomill v2. They "fixed" this issue by adding tensioning rods on the casting to keep pressure on the head & you can also adjust it if it begins to sag over time.
Where the CMX wins is floor space (due to the bridge style Y axis) & UNusable table space. CMX's have abnormally large tables, allowing you to mount a rotary axis without losing hardly any X axis travel. So, if you are mounting a rotary axis, you will end up with roughly the same amount of working travel on both machines.
Where the Doosan wins is rigidity & standard oil chilled spindles (CMX has a grease packed spindle, not chilled). I personally own a DNM 5700. While it has had its issues, I would buy another.
